Owner, Chief Executive Office and Chief Culture Officer
No one could accuse our CEO, Rich, of not getting his hands dirty. As well as making sure everything runs smoothly here at Imagine IT, his responsibilities range from being our resident Excel guru, Account Manager, and SharePoint Administrator, to general back-slapper, check-signer, and company dish-washer (or so he says!)
Rich holds a B.S. in Accounting and Management Information Systems, which he gained from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. He is also a Certified HIPAA Security Specialist and Certified Credit Card Security Professional.
In the IT industry since 2000, Rich has enjoyed a varied career from being the CEO and co-owner of the Next Level Café and CEO of the Manley Group to the Director of Financial Systems at Thomson-Reuters and a Senior Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
When he’s not washing dishes at Imagine IT, you can find Rich burning rubber on his motorcycle or mountain bike, watching his daughter’s gymnastics competitions or indulging in a glass of wine and some dark chocolate with his wife, Alison.
Owner, Chief Technical Officer
Peter oversees the day to day operations at Imagine IT, ensuring the smooth management of projects across the company, as well as coaching technical staff by utilizing his extensive technical background and skills.
With a multitude of Microsoft technical and sales certifications, Peter brings to his role over 25 years of tech industry related experience in a variety of skilled positions.
Away from the office, Peter loves to travel and explore the US. He also enjoys spectator sports, along with fine dining and spending quality time with his family, including his beloved dogs, Spencer and Champagne.
Owner, Chief Happ(i)ness Officer
Marc is one of Imagine IT’s Owners and is responsible for education and business development, spending a large portion of his time adding amazing new clients to the Imagine IT family. He is also very focused on delivering positive, exceptional experiences for the business owners, employees and customers of our clients.
After earning his BA in Computer Science at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN Marc enjoyed an extremely varied career as both a tennis and golf professional, the Owner of Dogleg Indoor Golf Centers and Vice President of Sales at Intellifeed, Inc. To date, Marc has 20 years of industry-related experience, making him the ideal boss to lead us on to even bigger and better things!
When not working with technology, Marc works to connect young adults to happiness through his work with the Gunnar Project. By lecturing on college campuses, in high schools and other youth community groups Marc shares the latest research and findings on happiness and teaches young adults the importance of intentionally pursuing happiness every day.
“Chris is our virtual CFO from North Dakota. Yes, people actually live in North Dakota! We’re kidding…North Dakota is AWESOME…if you’re a sunflower or a buffalo. All kidding aside, Chris is a lifelong proud North Dakotan and has been involved with Finance and Operations for his entire business career. With the multitude of industries he’s had exposure to, it led him to start his own consulting firm. He lives and breathes to help businesses create repeatable processes and procedures to achieve the goals they’ve set. We love having Chris on the team to keep us all in line and help us to achieve our dreams of winning the lottery and retiring.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys flying his airplane, fishing, rebuilding tractor engines, Mustangs (the motorized kind) and spending time with his lovely wife.”
Director of Human Resources
Barb’s best contributions are at the intersection of business, leadership, and learning where she collaboratively engages people with process to direct a positive impact to everyone’s working experience. Blending personal work experiences in corporate customer service management and HR, with her Master’s Degree in counseling psychology, Barb has accomplished expertise in leadership education, management team development; employee performance management; employee relations; personal and professional development. Barb tremendously enjoys her career and leadership coaching work with Bethel University graduate students and serves on non-profit boards.
When Barb sets her work aside to go have fun, you might find her camping with family, on the back of a Harley, bouncing around on an ATV, boating, dining at a new eatery, or catching the latest movie. It’s a safe bet that she is not sitting still for long!
Director of Managed Services
Adam comes to us with experience at several different IT service providers. He started consulting in Seattle where he ran his own small consultancy until he and his family moved back to Minnesota. Since coming back he's worked to improve his business skills along with the tech skills.
In his nearly 20 years of IT experience he brings a few certifications including the most recent Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert 2012 and the ITIL Foundations along for the ride.
In his spare time you can find him swimming, biking, or running in preparing for the next triathlon.
Jason is responsible for ensuring the smooth connection between the sales and service teams at Imagine IT, including the efficient running of business operations and internal systems. His expertise drives process improvement and streamlines efficiencies in all areas of the business.
Jason previously worked as an Operations Manager for a transport company and began his IT career in 2006.
Away from the office, Jason is a film and music buff and has been playing the guitar since the age of 13.
Darren oversees the Help Desk at Imagine IT and utilizes his previous experience as a Systems Engineer and Service Manager to ensure customer issues are resolved successfully. His role involves recommending new solutions to clients for long-term fixes.
Darren's IT career started in 2006 and he also has an Associate Degree in Programming and Game Development and is certified in WatchGuard products.
A big football fan, Darren enjoys time off playing softball and basketball, as well as spending quality time with his growing family.
Field Service Manager
Derek provides skilled and personable technical support at Imagine IT. He specializes in acting as a trusted technical advisor and partner in making technology work successfully for clients.
With a BA qualification, Derek's industry experience since 2006 included working as a Support and IT Help Desk Analyst with a major health care company and an insurance business.
When he's not at work, Derek spends his leisure time practicing archery, skiing, and enjoying video games, as well as appreciating craft beer.
Professional Services Manager
Responsible for the management of technology implementation projects at Imagine IT, Tim also oversees the resolution of top priority technical outages and issues. He began his IT career in 2000 and is an integral part of our escalation and project teams.
With an Associate of Applied Science qualification, Tim has worked as a Network Manager and Department Supervisor, as well as with broadband sales and installation with two communications companies.
In his leisure time, Tim enjoys spending quality time with his family and appreciating craft brews. He is a self-titled ‘fantasy football visionary’.
Shared Services Team
Adam K joined our team in 2015 and works hard on our NOC team ensuring our Partner’s backups are running seamlessly. He and the other NOC staff have put policies and procedures in motion to resolve issues quickly because preserving our Partner’s data is our top priority
He’s got a breadth of experience including Nuclear Engineering and propulsion in the Navy. It’s not rocket science…but we’re still impressed! He’s got an addiction with spicy food and loves cooking. He also spends several evenings a month as a bouncer at the most iconic club in Minneapolis. When he’s not escorting 250 pound inebriated folks out the door, he loves traveling, camping, hiking, biking, fossil digging, seashell art, hanging out with friends and spending time with his lovely new wife, Heidi.
With 8 years of industry experience, Andy is responsible for managing and administering customer networks at Imagine IT. He ensures business continuity by keeping up to date with current technologies and innovative tech solutions. He reports on and monitors cloud services and performances, along with managing on-site and off-site backup services.
A Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, Andy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and has a strong background in PC repair, information systems and network administration.
When not working, Andy loves football and cricket, and likes nothing more than being active outdoors.
Shared Services Manager
Brian works on our NOC team. He’s been integral in streamlining our desktop/server deployment processes. We’re so pleased to have him on our team and he’s got a great work ethic.
In a previous life, he was a geologist. He was prospecting in Alaska and the Yukon right out of college and then went back to North Dakota to catch the beginning of the Bakken oil boom. He spent some time in Montana working in a palladium mine and also worked on oil rigs from Texas to Wyoming. Brian has a Masters in GIS, doing predictive modeling for gold exploration in northern Minnesota. He spent all last summer touring America’s backroads by motorcycle. No plan, no timeline, just taking it easy and looking for a new way forward. He’s also got experience with Python development – dabbling with making GIS tools, database apps, automated Craigslist searches and some website building for friends and family.
On the weekends, you’ll see him out rock climbing, fishing, or riding the motorcycle.
Chrystal comes to us with an AAS in Accounting and 5 years of experience at a major life insurance company. She works hard at keeping the finances in line and making sure we submit timely expense reports and receipts!
In her spare time, she used to love to enjoy bonfires and water fowl hunting with her husband, but with the recent family addition of their daughter, they spend their spare time changing diapers and sleeping!

Corey started his technical tenure back in 1998 when he was 3 years old. Well maybe not that young, but he’s seen and done it all. He has experience in all things network related along with some Cisco expertise and many server migration projects. We’re delighted to have his wide range of knowledge on our team to figure out the most challenging of issues. He builds pc’s in his sleep and is a gamer as well but enjoys being outdoors riding bikes, skating, water skiing and chillin’ and grillin’.
Account Management Team
Dan is on our Help Desk team solving all the world’s computer problems. Well ok, perhaps not the entire world…but our Partners are our world! Dan has an awesome happy disposition, is a very thorough technician and loves figuring out complex technical issues. Dan has 5 years of industry experience and an AAS Degree in Network Administration.
When not at work being super tech, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son and tinkering with anything motorized, working on his house and other miscellaneous computer projects. Next time you’re on the phone with him, be sure to ask him how he upcycles throw away MAC parts!
Account Management Coordinator
Denise ventured to Minnesota in 1997 from Chicago. She has experience in various roles including technical support, quality control and customer service. As our Account Management Coordinator she is helping to keep the team organized and is working to refine and streamline our processes for product quoting. A dedicated Potterhead, she took her children to all of the midnight openings for the books and the movies, but lives by the philosophy that the book is always better. As a fully assimilated Minnesotan, she has become an avid Minnesota Wild fan hoping that a Stanley Cup is in their very near future. She and her husband were married on Friday the 13th, have 4 children, a black cat and dreams of traveling Europe.
Diana is Imagine IT’s office manager, den mother, party planner and chief gopher. Thanks to 20 years of experience, she’s the ideal person for providing fantastic support to our Sales, Accounts and Operations teams.
DD started her 3rd tenure with our company in 2010. She spent several years in various roles with Next Level Café’s founding company, Manley Group, including Project Manager, Office Manager, HR Manager and Executive Assistant –sometimes all at one time.
When not in the office, she is known most fondly as “Katie and Carly’s Mom” – raising two school aged girls with her husband, Tom. Formerly a self-confessed red wine snob, DD now appreciates white and sparkling wines too. Diana loves travel and thinks she might have been Italian in a former life. “Salute!”
Home grown Minnesota kid that morphed into super smart techie guy. By day he’s problem solving IT issues, by night he’s going to school to further advance the techno brain cells. An avid gamer who makes all of our old guy gamers jealous with his mad skills. Graham loves the outdoors and hiking and our partners love working with him.
Professional Services Team
At Imagine IT, Jared specializes in solution planning and implementation, as well as advanced SharePoint administration and development.
With over a decade of industry experience, Jared has an Associate Degree in Computer Electronics, Technology and Networking and has a background in network administration.
Jared takes his love of technology home with him and while not being a Dad and husband, he also enjoys writing music, and playing hockey, baseball and softball.
Jordan is a Senior Account Manager at Imagine IT. He has regular Strategic Technology Reviews with our partners to ensure they know where they are at, understand where they are trying to get to, and sees to it that we accomplish those goals. He is an advocate for our partners and makes sure everything we do is in our partners best interest.
Jordan now has 7+ years of Account Manager experience, with his last 4 being in the IT field. Though he has quite the passion for technology, his favorite thing to do is get out of the city and disconnect for a long weekend.
Ken is our resident security Jedi and has more certifications, degrees and education than all of us put together! Seriously…who has two Master’s degrees? Ken’s experience and passion for everything electronic has made him invaluable to Imagine IT and our partners. When he’s not challenging our security, he is an integral part of our Account Tech team keeping our clients networks and security squeaky clean.
Ken does find some occasional down time and enjoys painting, good steaks, red wine and you guessed it…computer security and electronics.
Customer Service Rock Star
Kristen is the warm and friendly voice of Imagine IT. She not only triages client technical issues, she assists our procurement department with inventory management, enjoys staging computers and helps keep our techs on schedule and organized.
Kristen holds a BA in Library Science and an Associate Degree in Software Development, along with an A+ certification. Before joining Imagine IT, she spent 5 years as a Librarian in England and has done IT troubleshooting for Apple IOS devices and more recently customer service for a large cable TV company.
A self-proclaimed knitting freak, she is always working on several complex knitting projects for friends and family, while fighting off her 2 cats, Tater and Logan, who are constantly chasing the ball of yarn. Originally from Ohio, she has 4 nieces and 1 nephew she loves to share photos of. She also enjoys reading and movies and lists “The Princess Bride” as one of her all-time favorite movies, which earns her the title of our resident “Princess Buttercup”.
Kyle was a super hero in a previous life and is a Beer Connoisseur in the current one. He’s been a techno geek since 2006 and has a super cool vibe when talking to our partners (not because of the beer but because he’s a super cool guy). He loves spending time with his wife being outdoors and going to a lot of breweries. He digs heavy metal music and EDM (that’s electronic dance music for you old folks). We’re delighted to have Kyle on our team challenging us to get more Fitbit steps. Did I mention that he loves beer?
Lisa is an Imagine IT Account Manager, liaison and voice supporting our Partners.
She has over 15 years of experience in the print and technology industry. Her passion is putting our Partners needs first. She wants to protect every Partner from a breach or catastrophic event by providing education, best practices and a detailed Technology & Security Roadmap.
Lisa is married to Dave with three busy children and a dog and a cat. She enjoys every minute with them. She also enjoys being active, traveling and embracing all that life throws her way! You may also find her Skydiving, running a Tough Mudder Competition or finding something else to check off of her Bucket List.
Loving being a part of ImagineIT’s team and mission, Michael is motivated by adding value into the lives of others. He feels tremendous purpose as he’s plays the role of a superhero saving the day for each partner of ours he comes in contact with. His college experience involves graduating from Dunwoody College of Technology with his AAS degree in Computer Networking Systems. He loves working with others and enjoys the differences and similarities each person he meets.
His habits involve beating traffic early in the morning to hit the gym, eating healthy, reading books that involve leadership and business, and striving for personal growth with the future in mind.
Mike is on our Help Desk team. Although fairly new to Imagine IT, he’s not new to computers. He’s been working on computers all his life…literally! He started writing programs at the age of 4 and fixing computers by 6 years old. He grew up in Mitchell, South Dakota and has an AAS degree in Computer Technology
In his free time, he hangs out with his lovely wife, Amy, helps his favorite charities and loves to play video games and record videos for his YouTube channel, where he’s got over 70,000 followers.
Professional Services Team
Nate is highly involved in all network and server installation projects and also enjoys working onsite with our clients to help solve technical issues. His expertise includes virtualization and cloud exchange email migrations, as well as desktop and laptop installations.
Nate has 7 years of technical experience and is certified in CompTIA, including Security+, Network+ and A+. He is also a Certified Microsoft Technology Specialist working with Windows and administering Office 365.
In his free time, Nate always has an electronics project on the go and loves tinkering with integrated circuits. He also enjoys photography and videography, as well as outdoor pursuits such as motorcycling, camping and travel to new destinations.

Raj has been working in all things technology related since 2006 and is a Microsoft and VMware certified professional. He holds a post graduate diploma in IT and has a strong background in Wintel Administration. He has a long distance commute so he works remotely on our Help Desk team. In his free time, he likes to experiment on his “Raj made” server and going on road trips with his wife and daughter.
Ryan is one of our “flex techs”. That means he’s super “flexible” in his role at Imagine IT. He helps out in the field as an Account Tech and is also a great technician on the Help Desk solving our Partner’s computer issues. Ryan has 5 years of industry experience with Managed Service Providers and graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Stout with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology Management.
Ryan has been playing Rugby since the age of 15 and he’s currently playing for the Metropolis Rugby Club of Minneapolis. In his free time, when not playing rugby, he likes to camp in the Boundary Waters, fish, hike, canoe and be outdoors.
Junior Systems Engineer
Stefanie is a recent graduate from the Creating IT Futures Foundation. She’s earned her A+ certification and is working towards her Network + cert. She’s a breath of fresh air on our team and we welcome her attention to detail and ability to work well in the male dominated locker room, otherwise known as the Help Desk. She’s super busy chasing after her kids at home and when asked “what do you do in your spare time”, she responded with “what’s that”?
